To me the main contribution is the complete list of Malay names for all butterflies of Peninsular Malaysia which we had to invent because there were very few Malay names before.
The names have been updated when I gain insights in drawing up Malay names checklists for birds, snakes, and odonata (dragoflies, damselflies):
